Biography

Sevy (Salvatore Di Cione) was born in Caracas, Venezuela on October 15. . At an early age he moved to Italy to his parents hometown "Materdomini" in the province of Avellino where he began performing theater at age 4. After completing elementary school, he moved back to Caracas attending the unforgettable "Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola," where he joined the drama department and was cast in several plays. While in Venezuela, he started working as a professional actor appearing in many television projects with various featured roles. At the same time he started a career in modeling, also working in TV commercials and print ads.

After completing high school Sevy moved to Orlando, Florida in the USA where he learned English and continued with his training as an actor. He also completed studies at UCF and Valencia Community College in the field of "Film Production Technology." While in Orlando, he worked on several film projects both in front of and behind the cameras.

In 1996 Sevy moved to Miami Beach in pursuit of his goals. Since his arrival he has appeared in over 70 commercials for the US, Europe, and Latin America and has appeared in various television pilots becoming one of the top Latin Actors in South Florida. In 1997 he began his formal vocal training, which led him to a new career as a singer/songwriter. In 1999 he was offered a major role on NBC's daytime drama "Passions" which he could not accept due to conflicts with his musical career. Later that year he was about to make yet another move, this time to New York for CBS's "As the World Turns." At this point Sevy Di Cione resides in Los Angeles where he is working on various projects.
